The idea of the stimulus package was to put money back into America. They wanted Americans to buy American made products, which in turn would help keep Americans employed. The draw back seems to be that we charge much more for American made products that the products that are shipped in from other countries, usually because our Products are made safer and better. The government has not been straight forward on many issues with us. They are supposed to let us know where the tax payer money goes, but no reports have been forthcoming on how the Stimulus Package has or has not stimulated the American Economy. |
