I remember an art project we did when I was in school. It was my first experience with rubber stamping. They had us carve out a design or picture on the piece of rubber. It took some special tools and a while to do. When we were done, we poured some paint in a container, painted the design, and then pressed it down on paper. We had created our own rubber stamp template.
