Benefits of Eating Healthy

All of us want to eat healthy, but the bad food always looks and smells so good. If you really want a healthy body, then you have to make that your priority. Learning to eat and enjoy good food will help your body in many ways. You know you will look better if you lose weight, but consider some of the other reasons to eat healthy.

All of your organs will start to love you again. Your heart will be able to get more blood and nutrients. Your liver can do a better job of detoxifying your system. Your skin will look healthier and bring more oxygen into the other organs. Your lungs will move in and out better, making it easier to move. Your energy will increase, you will sleep better, and your sex life will get better. Is all this worth watching what and how much you eat? The answer should be a resounding yes!

You should eat enough calories to support your body structure, but not more than you need. Drink plenty of water. East lots of fruits and vegetables every day. Watch your portion sizes. Eat a variety of foods every day. Limit sugar and salt in your diet. Don’t try to control what everyone else eats, since that is up to them.

Try to eat a little at a time, but five or six times a day. Eat slowly and chew completely. Avoid stress while eating. This will inhibit the way your food is digested. Eating really late at night does not give your body a chance to digest all your food and it will take much longer to get through your system.
