Remember Your Veggies

As the big day is fast approaching (Christmas) and more and more trays of treats are being set in your view, eating right is very hard.
 
Remember your veggies. Whenever possible, eat larger helpings from the veggie trays and salad bowls before going to the sweet trays, lunch meat trays, potato and macaroni salad trays. The relish trays are good to go with your veggies. Pickles and olives have no calories.
 
If you eat from the salad, veggies and relish trays, you will feel fuller and will eat less of the meat and sweet trays. Your body will appreciate this. You will be putting less fat and calories in. The digestive system can digest these better than the heavy  foods.
 
If you are entertaining, remember to offer fresh veggie, fruit and relish trays. Your health and that of your friends should always be on the fore-front of your mind. There are so many tasty fruits and vegetables available, that you will not be taking flavor away from your Holiday spread.
